I’ve never understood why people buy figures. Why spend a lot of money on something you can’t read, watch, or otherwise use in any way? I guess it’s like buying a piece of art except collecting half-naked anime girls is infinitely more embarrassing than hanging a painting in your house. Seriously, what do people do when they have someone over? I’m ashamed enough as is by my manga, DVD and poster collection.
Nevertheless, I have been swayed to the dark side and am now consumed by an all powerful and irrational urge to throw my money away over a chunk of plastic.

What can I say? It’s just badass. I’d put it next to my bed so I can wake up every morning and remind myself to live each day as if I’m piloting a flaming robot the size of a galaxy.
There’s only one minor problem. Check the price tag: 25, 200 yen or, currently, about $230 and that’s before shipping. No problem! I’ll just go place my order right away… Are all figures this expensive or just the good ones?
Well, maybe I should be glad I can’t afford it. I don’t want to end up like this.

I would only get the figure if it could shoot gigantic drills from its flames.
